WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I PLACE MY ORDER? 

You will receive a confirmation email detailing your order. If you created an account, you can also log in to check your order status. Your order status will remain as ‘Processing’ until the time your order has been packed and is ready for despatch, so don’t panic, we have it all in hand.

It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery can be made successfully to the delivery address specified on the order. Please make sure any specific delivery instructions are passed on to us at least 24 hours before the estimated delivery date. Any delivery instructions are purely at the discretion of the courier company’s driver, and we can take no responsibility if they are not followed. Where delivery of an order has been attempted, your delivery charge will not be refunded under any circumstances.

How do I track my order? Once your order has been packed, you will receive an email containing the relevant courier’s tracking information. If you gave a mobile number when placing your order, you will also receive a text containing your tracking information on the morning of your delivery day, giving you a 2-hour delivery window.

We will make every effort to despatch all Shelf-Life Goods within 1-2 Working Days, but delays are sometimes inevitable or beyond our control. We will seek to keep you informed of any delay to your expected delivery date if such an issue arises.. During busy times, such as spring and summer, or when we have special offers on, the lead time can increase to 5 Working Days. We would recommend you think ahead when ordering any bait for pre-planned sessions. If you need bait urgently, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to ensure you get it in time.

The estimated delivery time is generally up to 5-7 working days from your dispatch notification dependant on country.

Please Note: All shipments outside of Germany may be subject to Import Duty/ Tax which are levied once the shipment reached your country. 

As we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be, additional charges for customs clearance must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Such charges are not included in the purchase price of DNA BAITS LTD products. We will not be responsible for the payment of any Import Duty / Tax under any circumstances

We are not able to offer a refund for returned goods which are returned because the customer wishes to avoid paying any customs duties imposed.

When ordering from DNA BAITS LTD/ BAF INT you agree to pay any Import Duty / Tax which may be imposed by your country’s government. If you refuse to pay any Import Duty / Tax imposed and thereby prevent delivery of your order you will remain liable for the purchase price of the product/s and any Import Duty / Tax or penalty imposed by your government.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country and customs duties are not always applied. Each country has its own rules for determining whether Import Duty / Tax will apply. Some countries only charge customs duties if the parcel has a value over a certain amount. Based on your country’s customs rules, it is possible that your parcel will fall below that threshold level.

Therefore we ask that you contact your local customs/import/mail departments for rates before you place an order to avoid any surprises. If you require the relevant commodity codes to estimate what a particular import duty/tax charge may be, please request this by emailing sales@bafint.com

We cannot guarantee that items will not be subject to random checks and cause associated delays and charges. DNA BAITS LTD/ BAF INT is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN MY ORDER ARRIVES?

Shelf-Life Bait: This should always be kept in the cool and out of direct sunlight when not in use to ensure the bait stays in the best condition. Once a bag is opened, we cannot guarantee the shelf life due to moisture being able to access the bait, which can start a bacterial process. This doesn’t mean it will go off within days, but be aware if you open a bag and then leave it sweating in the back of your car for three months, it may still go off. Pop-Ups and Bottled Liquids: These are shelf life and can be stored in your fishing bag. To be safe, we recommend that any pop-ups once opened are kept out of direct sunlight to stop any condensation developing in the pots later on. Remember, moisture is the enemy when it comes to storing shelf-life products.

Pellets and Groundbaits: These are shelf life and can be stored in your fishing bag. We recommend these products are kept out of direct sunlight during storage to reduce condensation at a later date.

Hookbaits and Liquids: These are shelf life and can be stored in your fishing bag. We recommend these products are kept out of direct sunlight during storage to reduce condensation at a later date.

WHAT HAPPENS IF AN ITEM IS NOT IN STOCK?

If an item goes on back order, we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. We will make a note on the order if an item is to follow. As soon as the item is back in stock, we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY ORDER DOESN’T ARRIVE?

DHL can deliver at any time up to 6pm, although in our experience deliveries are rarely made this late in the day. If your order hasn’t arrived before 6pm on the delivery day, please get in contact with us as soon as you can and we will find out what has happened to it. Please note that if notified of an estimated time of delivery, this is indeed just an estimation and not a guarantee, as many things, such as bad traffic, breakdowns or re-routed drivers can affect this. If you’re worried, though, feel free to give us a call and we will try to assist you.

RETURNS POLICY

Bait Items including Shelf Life Boilies – Unless an item has been damaged/or is faulty and evidence of the issue has been supplied to BAF International GmbH , it is not possible for us to send out a replacement item. Once the item has been successfully returned, BAF International GmbH will issue a direct refund.
